You did all the hard work of planning for your session, getting stellar outfits, showing up at your location, maybe bribing your kids a little bit. You’ve seen your photos and love them (yah!), but that’s not the end of our time together. Getting your photos up on your wall or in an album is the last step and the most important step of your whole session.
This can be a really overwhelming step because there are so many options and choices out there about what to do with your photos. This is why I meet with every client after their session. I bring along samples of products and we figure out together within a short amount of time exactly what you’re going to do with your photos. No more homework after a photography session!
In the past, I have not offered this service to clients and have let them print things on their own. I’ve found this was not as helpful when I’m not there in the end. As a photographer, I have done a lot of research on the best products that will last and have color-calibrated my monitor and gotten sample prints and just so many things that a client doesn’t need to do and shouldn’t do. That’s my job I’m a photographer! I have a lot of time into making sure that the end product is something that you will be able to keep for a lifetime and remember these moments with your family.
I have put together a curated list of excellent products that I personally have hanging in my own home. I’ve gone through a lot of different samples and have ended on these couple of products that are the best (IMHO) and will last.
Albums
I strongly feel like every family should have an album after their session. Why? Because an album contains all or almost all of your photos from your session. They are made beautifully by a professional printing company and they are something that you will keep for your whole life. It’s an album that you can pass on to your kids one day and you’re not going to have to worry about it falling apart in a year.
Albums are available in two different sizes (10×10 or 12×12), four different cover materials (suede, velvet, leather, or linen), and can be personalized with up to three lines of text. I design each album and layout your images in a beautiful presentation that I know you will love!

Wall Art
Wall art is simply artwork from your session that will live on your wall. I keep the choices limited to only the best options. This reduces decision fatigue and helps to keep things simple! Wall art can also be part of a gallery that we create together with your images.
Canvas
These canvases are absolutely stunning in person. You seriously have to see and touch one of these to truely appreciate how beautiful there are. Each canvas is carefully coated with matte varnish which results in a non-glare surface that keeps rich colors. Canvases are mounted on 1.5” of wood stretcher bars and each corner is custom cut. They are finished with beehive hangers that make hanging the canvas straight super simple.
Framed Fine Art Print
Nothing says classic as much as a framed print. The frames I carry are wood and come in walnut, ash, timber, black, grey, or white finishes. Each print is on fine art matte paper, matted, mounted for durability, and kept safe behind glare-resistant acrylic. They come with finished backs and are ready to hang upon delivery. We can create something really unique and beautiful to decorate your home.

Hanging Canvas
A hanging canvas is a beautiful way to display your photos. Photos are printed on high-quality UV-resistant canvas and mounted so it won’t warp. Birchwood is used to complete the display, framing the top and bottom of your photo. Each print comes ready to hang with jute twine. These are another one of my favorite ways to display images. They are really, really beautiful in person. I love that they have a backing, so you don’t need to worry about them curling later on. I have one of my daughter hanging in our living room that I love!

Gifts
Can’t forget Grandma and Grandpa! They also would love prints of the kids and your family to display in their home.
Small Prints
All of my prints are museum-quality matte prints. They closely match what you see on your screen and are made to last. Gift prints come in sizes 8×10 or smaller.
Companion Album
Another great gift idea for grandparents besides prints are companion albums. These are smaller 6×6 exact copies of your larger album. They are just as beautiful and would make a great keepsake to gift!
Choices, Choices, Choices!
I hope this helped narrow down some of your choices for what to do with your images after your session. I’ve spent a lot of time curating the best products for the images that I create. While there are a lot of options, we take it one choice at a time so that it doesn’t overwhelm you.
Another great part about meeting after your session together is that we get these decisions made and out of the way! You’re most likely a busy mom and have a million things on your to-do list.
Printing photos can feel like one more thing to do and often gets pushed to the bottom of the list. No more! I’m here to help the whole until the very end when you sit back and enjoy seeing your beautiful family on your wall every day and remember just how little your kids were.
