The Menon family joined me for a family session this summer at Plamann Park . The weather was hot and sticky, but we were still able to capture beautiful photos of their family. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes tried to eat us alive even with a healthy spray of bug spray. But despite the heat and bugs, their session was a success! Clothing
Mom did a great job at picking out coordinating outfits for her family. Notice how they coordinate but don’t match exactly. FYI – matching is not “in” anymore. 🙂 This is something we discuss during a pre-session consult call, so you can feel confident about dressing your family before your session.
Location
We decided on Plamann Park for the Menon Family’s session. There is a beautiful spot in the woods with a gorgeous tree that I love! Dad mentioned that we “adopted” the tree since it was in many photos. I am a sucker for backlit, sun-drenched images. I loved the light and location for their session!
After Their Session
We met for their view and order appointment a couple of weeks after their session. I spend a lot of time with the families I work with, which I love! It gives me an opportunity to get to know each family I work with. I loved hearing about the Menons’ adventures in their home of Zambia and how they ended up there. More than anything, I was happy to help them remember this time with their young family.
After viewing their slideshow of images, they decided on a framed fine art print and an album of their images. Such great choices! As beautiful as their photos are on screen, they’re 100x better in print. I know they will love seeing them on their wall and in their heirloom album for years to come.
