Outdoor Newborn Session
Have you recently moved into a new home or maybe you’re in a house that isn’t your final home? Having an outdoor newborn session is a great option if you aren’t quite settled into that final home. For this newborn session, we took photos outside at a park for the family portion, and then I used my props for the newborn-only shots. It worked out really well because the family knew that they weren’t in their forever home and didn’t necessarily want photos in their current place. If you’re looking for newborn photography Green Bay, know that we can be flexible with our location.
Favorite Moments From Thomas’ Newborn Session
Some of my favorite moments from this newborn session were how sweet his older sister was with Thomas. This was the second photoshoot I did with the family (previously I took their maternity photos in spring) and I could tell big sister was so much more comfortable with me taking their photos. Her personality really came out! That’s one of the things I love most about photographing families more than once. Everyone’s a little more comfortable with me and it’s easier to capture those sweet in-between moments that you want to remember.
Custom Artwork For Their Home
Another great part about this newborn session was that they really valued having tangible artwork from their session in their home. After we completed their session we met over Zoom to view their photos in a slideshow. Then I designed and ordered an album, a canvas, and a hanging canvas for this family.
Delivering those products to their home gave me all the warm fuzzies because I know they will have printed artwork from their session. I know how hard it can be to find the time to print your photos especially with a new baby at home. Taking that part off Mom’s plate was a huge reason why I decided to offer wall art and albums in the first place. Ultimately that is the end product that we want so that we can enjoy our photos every day and remember just how little our kids were. It’s what it’s all about!
